The aim of a National Certificate Level 2 (NC2) programme is to impart foundational knowledge, develop a range of technical and other skills and abilities, and inculcate positive attitudes that are essential for progression to a related NC3 course or for employment in an appropriate field. The programme places strong emphasis on practical, hands-on learning, allowing learners to develop confidence in the use of tools, equipment, materials, and basic workplace procedures. Alongside technical training, students strengthen essential competencies such as communication, literacy, numeracy, ICT, teamwork, problem-solving, discipline, safety awareness, and responsibility. 

Through structured vocational training and practical activities, learners are encouraged to develop good work habits, greater independence, and a professional attitude. The NC2 programme therefore provides a solid foundation for further vocational education, entry into employment, and long-term personal and professional development.
